Poppy was brought to us when her owner died and had been living at Aberystwyth Dog Rescue for 4 years because of her issues with lonliness. However, her new owner fell in love with her and they now spend all the time in the world together! Derek, her new owner, says, "Poppy has made my life so much happier and less lonely. We were made for each other!"
Sandy was abused as a puppy and abandoned on the beach when Aberystwyth Dog Rescue found her. She made a full recovery under our supervision until she was ready to be rehomed. Georgia, her new owner, says, "Sandy is now my best friend. I don't know how I lived without her!"
Roger came to us when his owners had to move abroad and could not take him with them. At first he would not stop barking, hoping his owners would come back. His new family, however, have tamed his constant barking now he is in a happy home. The new family say, "Roger is so much fun and we are so glad we adopted him!"
Joe became too much for his owners when he became old and frail, so they left him with Aberystwyth Dog Rescue. His new owner, Margaret, says, "I don't know how anyone could ever have given Joe away, he is the perfect companion! He is quite happy to sit by my side and is no trouble at all!"
